Pluralism

Pluralism uses multiple different rendering styles in one painting to create a harmonious composition. The imagery that I use in these paintings explores feelings of emotional disconnect and self-discovery during the early adulthood stages of life. Through these pieces, various questions are proposed, such as, Who am I? What is my worth? And where do I belong? (Last painting is after Jean Michel-Basquiat, Otto Dix, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, and Leon Golub.)

Museum Installation

This project was part of my summer work term at the Climb Thru Time Museum and is now a permanent installation in the museum. For this project I was tasked with making improvements to their "Natural Disasters" display. I used imagery from within the display as references for large-scale paintings to make the space have more pop and excitement visually.

Animation

I love to experiment with animation to tell stories. I'm very interested in old analogue media from the 90s to the early 2000s and enjoy using those textures and themes to make my animations feel more interesting. I like to tell stories and hope that I can use animation to create feelings and emotions in the viewer.
